Client Case File 42: IllCamille Flyers

Two flyers promoting two of Ill Camille’s shows in Los Angeles at The Airliner and The Key Club. I thought I would include QR Code linking to her Reverb Nation page to get the most out of the flyer.

Digital Blackbook Entry: Random 001

Sometimes I have random dreams of color. I just like to get them out so I can get to the more raw artwork. No real thought or concept in these. Just “Digital Doodles”…

Collabo 001: DVD Art for Writer Director Arslan Baig

So, I decided to do another collaboration with a shortfilm maker overseas. He is more into the horror genre of films. I just want to work my creative muscle so I can produce awesome artwork with faster turnarounds.

Here is the original production photo…

Here is the Artwork I produced after…

…This a work in progress. I need to fix the title treatment and I think that will be it. He was very pleased with the results.

Here is a sneak peak of the short film…

CD COVER DESIGNS 2

CLIENT:::STORY

These two covers are also available on Itunes and Amazon.com. Hash – Latinz Finest cover was created with again few photos of the artist only so I did what I could with what I had. I think this a reoccurring thing in my artwork. I get very little elements and make the most of them.

ZEN LOUNGE(RIGHT) I hand drew in Corel Painter and did the title in Adobe Illustrator and composited all the elements in Adobe Photoshop. The image I reference was a old water color and calligraphy painted scroll that one of the executives had purchased from china.

PROGRAMS USED: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter

Commissioned by the Jack & Jill organization to design flyer for an event they were hosting. Originally, they only wanted to use just black, white, and red. I convinced them to use burgundy and cool gray. I had 2 versions…

Here is the first version…

Here is another new installation from Front Room Entertainment Enterprise’s DJ Shanx and Music Flame’s Chris Jenkins. I was commissioned to do mixtape for the MVP Boys…

On this one they kinda wanted to go with a look similar to Frank Miller’s Sincity with highlights and shadows.

Here is the first version…

The final version…

Client Case File 34: Rick Hughes Mixtape

Another design with Hittmenn West DJ, DJ Shanx.

Was commissioned again by DJ Shanx to do design for producer Rick Hughes. He told me to use the color blue and do my thing so I came up with this. Nailed it on the first round.

The art style was influenced by Angeleno artist El Mac and Retna

Client Case File 33: Whoopie Bakery Logo

I was commissioned to work on the concept and design for a new food product Whoopie Pies.

The product is like a small cake with a cream filling. For a more defined understanding here is the a wikipedia link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whoopie_pie

In addition, the logo was to include two Whoopie Pies to replace the O’s in Whoopie. During the first round of revisions the client got a comment saying the whoopies looked like hamburgers. Argh! So, I went and took the time to revise 3 times to perfect the logo and WAH LAH! (I hope I am not over using that expression)
